Allen Iverson Has No Answer For Financial Woes
Allen Iverson has reportedly gone from 11-time NBA all-star to financial deadbeat. The Philadelphia 76ers icon was recently ordered to pay over $860,000 to a jeweler, and he couldn't cut a check.
A Georgia judge has ordered the seizing of Iverson's bank account, so the relatively little money he has left will be garnished, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
This isn't just another formerly famous athlete blowing a ton of cash. Iverson was among the biggest superstars in the NBA, earning more than $154 million during a professional career that began back in 1996. (This doesn't include endorsement money and other business deals.)
How did Iverson lose so much?
Loyal to his friends from a youth spent in Virginia, Iverson traveled with one of the biggest posses in professional sports. Bill Lyon of the Philadelphia Inquirer says the group has as many as 50 people for some Sixers home games. "A.I." took a hair stylist on the road with him and also loved to buy jewelry for himself and his beloved mother, Ann Iverson.
Iverson felt he owed his childhood friends from the old neighborhood because "They made me." The feeling was, without them protecting him from the mean streets, he would have never made it to the NBA.

There's a reason L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul got a sick deal on his giant Bel Air mansion -- according to Avril Lavigne's ex-husband Deryck Whibley ... the place has a bad ghost problem.
TMZ broke the story ... Avril sold Chris the 8-bedroom palace for $8.5 million -- one million less than her original listing price.
But according to Whibley -- who used to live in the house with Avril -- the discount was no coincidence ... telling us, the mansion is "haunted."
Color us skeptical -- but the Clippers did lose to the Lakers last night ... coincidence?

T.O. Struggling in Life after Football

Only in Utah would they find this offensive...
To make a long story short, a school board rejected a high schools plea to change their mascot to a "cougar" because they said that some "middle-aged women" would be "offended"... They obviously are not aware that being a "cougar" is a good thing and middle-aged women should be flattered when called that. Of course this would happen in Utah. A bank is foreclosing on the Florida home of O.J. Simpson, who is serving time in a Nevada prison for kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges.
Miami-Dade Circuit Court records show that JPMorgan Chase filed for foreclosure in September. Simpson's attorneys have since filed a motion to dismiss the case.
Simpson bought the four-bedroom, four-bath house south of downtown Miami in 2000 for $575,000. Its current assessed value is $478,401.

Tebow's game winning play illegal?
Of course someone is going to over analyze this play to hate on Tebow in any way possible. The argument here is that the tight end on the short side looks like he is off the line which would make the receiver up top (D.Thomas) ineligible. Well you know refs make mistakes and miss a ton of calls during the game whether it a hold, clip, illegal formation etc but this happen to be one of those that they missed and it happened to end the game. Coachella 2012 line up...
I dont know about you guys but this line up doesn't get me all that excited about going to Coachella this year at least compared to years past. This year its going to be 2 weekends. With big names like Kaskade, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, The Black Keys and of course Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre this festival may not be as great all around as the past but im sure after a few beverages and some other activities that will be going on Im sure both these weekends will be a blast.
